Ride through our quaint colonial town as you head towards one of the town’s more popular destinations, Driving Creek Rail and Potteries. Certainly a must do whether taking the Eyefull Tower Rail Tour or visiting the Pottery & Craft Shop and Wildlife Sanctuary & Sculpture Garden. Plenty to see along the way whether it be admiring beautiful artwork at Hauraki House, reminiscing at one of the many Heritage Treasures Site or savouring some of the handmade limited edition jewellery at Driving Creek Jewellery Art studio. Arrange to visit an Art Studio or two, something our town is famous for or see how successful you are at gold panning with Wild Panning perhaps. Cafes are located along the way or stop off for a pint at one of our two iconic hotels.
Finish with a quick trip out to "Over the Fence" a life in minature, passionately created by Bev Johnston and situated just along Whangapoua Road.
Prebooking required for Driving Creek Rail, Wild Panning and some Art Studios. We can arrange this for you.
Approximate Cost: From $25 per person. We will provide map, helmet, bike lock and hi visibility vest. Panniers bags from $5 each.
