Day Two: 42kms over quiet gravel country roads and 10kms of the not to be missed, Coromandel Coastal Walkway. The Walkway is a popular, well trodden route, once used by the generations of days gone by.
Much of the Walkway is well formed however there is a 300 metre section to conquer where it is advised you dismount and walk your bike through. Our bikes have walk assist to help you out.
The second half of the day is a spectacular ride along the rocky west coast with amazing sea views across the Hauraki Gulf. The ancient pohutukawa trees under the shadow of Mount Moehau make this an almost spiritual experience.
Your night's motel accommodation awaits you in the quiet Colville Bay with possibly another spa to soothe those tired muscles. Or perhaps a stroll to the Point to catch a sublime sunset at the end of a satisfying day.
Day Three: 26 kilometres with options! But first take the time to explore Colville and its art studios, Himalaya Shop and Mahamudra Retreat (seasonal hours may apply). Pause for lunch at Hereford N A Pickle perhaps before starting the final leg of your journey into Coromandel Town.
